DXLab Commander Buttons and Sliders for the Icom 7300 and Icom 7610

DXLab Commander customization is easier than I thought for the Icom 7300 and Icom 7610. I've added some buttons (sequences) and sliders to control the radio. I don't use the software rig control very much, but I have found these few buttons and sliders come in handy. If you use the Icom 7300 or Icom 7610, the files I have below will work for you. They will work with some other Icom radios as well.

DXLab Commander

Commander allows you to control your  Alinco, Elecraft, Flexradio, Icom, JRC, Kachina, Kenwood, TenTec, or Yaesu radio from a PC running Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, or 8; both 32-bit and 64-bit flavors of Windows are supported.  Commander is free, and contains no advertising; commercial use is expressly forbidden. - DXLab website

DXLab Commander Buttons and Slider Files

I received some help from a fellow ham (Art, W2NRA) on the DXLab Group. He helped me with the PreAmp button so it will initiate Preamp 1, 2 and turn off.

Some of the files I use to create the buttons (sequences) and sliders are found on the DXLab Group. A few I made myself just because I wanted them.

It's pretty simple to implement. I'll put the files I use below and they can be downloaded from my website or if you prefer head over the the DXLab Groupand look in their files section. They have a larger selection.

The DXLab Group is an excellent resource.

The video will explain how to do it.

I'm an Amateur Radio enthusiast. I love the hobby and experimenting with radios, antennas and software. On my YouTube channel I upload videos on the Icom 7300 and Icom 7610 along with Ham radio software programs. I hope to inspire people to try new things in Amateur Radio.
